Let's just say both were ahead of their time, though only one could be called threatening. ;)<br /><br />Doubly odd too in that the Association's sound was a clear precursor to the kind of lush vocal arrangements that came to be a hallmark of Queen only a generation later.<br /><br />Great write up all the same, if you look past the citation gaff in the fifth paragraph regarding the author of 'Cherish'.
